Whilst employed at Plan E as Senior Landscape Architect, I led the design for a new urban plaza linking the City to Northbridge following the masterplan for the entire link project.

Sitting over a section of link where the submerged train line emerges above ground, this plaza had significant grade changes to make on both sides.

The design emulates the historic wetland system with undulating landscape with water interventions integrated with sculptures by Jon Tarry.

WA granite steps fade into ramps to provide access through with areas and seats for small gatherings  while Kimberley sandstone clad planters erupt with paperbark plantings.
